This week students in grades 6-8 reviewed the homework, -ar verbs 2, and took a quiz that asked them to conjugate the verb necesitar. In pairs, students assembled a puzzle using their knowledge of -ar verb conjugations. The first teams to complete their puzzles were given a homework pass for next week's homework (I wrote the students' names at the top in green and a star on the page.) They will still be required to complete -ar vebs 4, which will be passed out on Monday. We played Pelota (Quietball) using the verb endings. The homework this week will help to enforce those conjugations. This week's homework for grades 6-8 is listed above. I encouraged the students to review the meanings of the verbs even while they are practicing how to form them correctly. Next week's quiz will ask students to give the meaning of a subject and conjugated verb (for example, yo busco - I look for) from Spanish to English.
